Together at Christmas

Wreaking havoc across the globe since its outbreak back in 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic truly turned our lives upside down. Last Christmas, there were no work-do’s, no Santa’s grottos, no Christmas markets and no bustling high streets.

But Christmas 2022 is looking a lot more festive and in the true spirit of Christmas we were tasked with spreading a little Christmas cheer and bringing people together at some of L&Q’s new developments across the UK in the form of community events.

From mince pies at Beauchamp Park in Warwick to wreath making and biscuit decorating at The Arbour in Beaulieu, Chelmsford and a gospel choir at The Quarry in Erith led by Sir Tom Jones’ protegee, Wura Abimbola, from The Voice 2021 - it’s been an extremely busy few weeks at Faust HQ, masterminding and managing various community events.

We’re facing a huge cost of living crisis, which will see so many people go without this year – with that in mind, we asked attendees of the festive events to donate a child friendly gift to a local charity. The generosity of residents was astounding and we are so thrilled to have been able to donate so many gifts to Child Friendly Warwickshire and Kids Inspire.

After a difficult few years, it’s a wonderful way to sign off for 2022, full of Christmas cheer and festive fun!
