It seems extraordinary that a whole year has passed since I graduated from Durham University and joined the Faust team last August. Now well and truly immersed in the world of property PR, my first year has been an incredibly rewarding and enjoyable one.
The diversity of the role, encompassing everything from copy writing, to attending industry awards, to helping distribute hampers at community picnics, has ensured there’s never been a dull day at Faust. Surrounded by an incredibly supportive and sociable team, I have learned a huge amount about the PR industry and the property world more broadly.
I have had plenty of opportunities to build key relationships with both clients and respected journalists, enabling me to develop my own skills through first-hand experiences. Whether touring a luxury home at one of Octagon’s press launches, or strapped to the side of a boat on one of Faust’s infamous sailing days, the strong connections I have built have proven a crucial element of the role.
As we continue to grow as a firm, and the PR industry continues to innovate and transform, I can’t wait for my second year at Faust!
